Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 - FULL Set-Up Tutorial & Demo for the iPad - Duration: 19:18. I recorded a Cover of Blue Suede Shoes (Carl. I used the Scarlett Solo (Focusrite) and did a quick informal review and demonstrated how easy it is to set up. Why does it work 99 percent of the time? Why does Cubasis see all the possible routing? Why am I able to use 8 simultaneous inputs? Why does the iPad see it as an input and output option? And why was everything fine before updating to Cubasis 1.How to record a song with Garageband. Even now, as well as before, if the interface isn’t ios compatible as you are suggesting, and by extension not Cubasis compatible. Plus, I had no problems before the last Cubasis update. Uk. › products › USB Audio Interfacesġ8i20 supports both Macintosh and Windows computers as well as the iPad … Suitable for Windows, Macintosh and even iOS platforms, Scarlett 18i20’s USB 2.0 … Plus here is a statement from the focusrite site that clearly states iOS compatibility. I have a feeling that it only gives results for desktop operations systems, and none of the portable ones such as iOS, android etc. I don’t think that compatibility checker that you reference to is for iOS compatibility. Please get back to Focusrite about the issue. I gave Focusrite’s OS Compatibilty Checker a short check, iOS compatibility is not stated there: I sometimes have no audio output, although Cubasis is seeing the interface. I’ve got the latest iOS and Cubasis on an Air 2 with a Focusrite 18i20. Thanks all for listening to my rants and ramblings. I will keep going, and try and spot a pattern as to when issues occur to see if I can find certain combinatioons that are problematic. I have suffered problems with iElectribe not responding to MIDI, and then when it does te audio is broken up. Recently I have regularly been using iElectribe, Module, Galileo and iSem. I don’t know where the problems arise from, whether it be iOS, Cubasis, IAA or one or more of the IAA generators/instruments or me but something is definitely causing issues that once they start seem to stay around for a while and then they seem to just go away and everything is ok again.Īt the moment my suspicion is that one of the iAA apps is triggering the problems. This is what causes the frustration, it workas perfectly most of the time, but at times it seems like nothing wants to work at all. Tonight I plugged in the realtone cable and all seems to be working fine, audio input to cubasis and using tonestack as IAA insert. I have been loading and editing multiple projects without restarting cubasis or the iPad. I have been using cubasis on and off all day without trying audio input and have had no problems at all.

There is definitely something software related causing this. Also I assume you have the audio interface in the CC (Class Compliant) setting (on interface itself). If this works for you let me know, as the background audio seems to glitch and caused me a massive headache trying to sort it. Try disabling the background audio in Cubasis settings then close and re-open Cubasis and see if that works and I assume you have assigned your inputs and outputs on each track and turned on the speaker icon on the tracks as well. Please help!!! It’s driving me mad! I have tried re starting the iPad and it makes no difference. The microphone works and is enabled in the iPad/cubasis settings. In the settings it says no devise detected but I can hear the audio through the headphones so I know the interface is working. I’ve watched a man on YouTube record audio from guitars, keyboards etc with exactly the same set up yet when I plug it all in cubasis (or the iPad) doesn’t recognise it.
I have bought cubasis and all the necessary connectors and leads to record audio (camera connection kit and berhinger UCA U222 as the audio interface). I have bought an iPad air specifically for making and recording music.
